Ross is LDF’s Group Sector Manager – Social Housing, joining the business from Mears, where he developed a strong understanding of the operational, commercial and service challenges faced by social housing providers.
His client-side experience gives Ross a valuable perspective on what good looks like from a contractor: responsive service, clear communication, strong resident care and, above all, consistent delivery against agreed standards and SLAs.
- Strong understanding of social housing from the client’s perspective, bringing first-hand knowledge of the expectations placed on contractors operating within occupied homes
- Experienced in the operational demands of housing contracts, including SLA performance, resident communication, access challenges, escalation management and maintaining service continuity
- Focused on building strong partnerships with housing associations, local authorities and their delivery partners, ensuring LDF’s service is aligned with both contractual requirements and the needs of residents
- Acts as a dedicated senior point of contact for LDF’s social housing clients, providing sector-specific oversight, accountability and a clear route for communication and escalation
- Bridges the gap between client expectations and operational delivery, using his experience from the client side to continually challenge and improve how LDF supports the social housing sector
