London Drainage Facilities (LDF) has been appointed by Mears Group to deliver its wide range of drainage services on behalf of their extensive portfolio of residential properties, concentrated in the Kensington & Chelsea Borough of London.

The contract, reviewed annually, will see the company provide services including emergency reactive callouts, CCTV surveys and excavation works to over 5,000 multiple residential sites across the leafy London borough on behalf of Catalyst Housing.

Fraser Ruthven, Head of Marketing & Growth at LDF, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed to work on this prestigious project by Mears Group. We have worked hard to achieve this particular contract as we look to make severe in-roads to the group’s drainage operations within London and the South-East. We already look after several other boroughs in London where Mears operate, so stay tuned for more developments!”

Danny Fuller, the company’s Managing Director, adds: “This win further positions us as a leading player in the drainage sector within the South East of England. We have a proven track record of delivering drainage work for high-profile customers in a similar area already including Mitie, Willmott Dixon and Rydon Maintenance, which I am sure helped to highlight us as the best candidate for this job.”

Mears Group employs almost 16,000 people in every region of the UK and is responsible for the maintenance, repair and upgrade to the homes of hundreds of thousands of people in communities from remote rural villages to large inner-cities.
