Unblock your drains with high pressure water jetting

Friday, November 13th, 2009

Over a period of time, grease, fat, silt and other mineral deposits build up on the walls of drainage pipes. These materials on the inner walls makes it rough and reduces the ability of the drain water to flow smoothly away, and creates a surface that more deposits can adhere to, which worsens the situation. High pressure water jetting is the best way to clear the drainage pipes, as the forced water cuts away the dirt deposits from walls and the water will ultimately flush the deposits out.

Water jetting is mostly used to clear household drainage systems or local authority sewer systems. Water jetting systems use high pressures to clean build ups and blockages, and also prevents the need to use any corrosive chemicals which can damage the environment.
Sometimes, other methods such as drain rods are also used to clear the drain but if proper care is not taken, using these rods may cause damage to the pipes, trips and gullies.

Water jetting for homes and businesses
Water jetting systems are used by professionals, as they are one of the quickest and most efficient ways to clean home drains. This process or system is very convenient, as it requires no excavation or chemicals to be used down the drainage system. High pressure water system is also used to remove any plant or tree roots which have been grown in the pipe with the help of specialised cutting tools that are driven by the water jets.

Water jetting is also used at commercial places like restaurants, laundries, etc which require high pressure jetting frequently to remove the accumulation of mineral deposits, grease, fats and debris which are accumulated in the drains for many years.
