CCTV surveys can determine what problems may be causing the blockage. With a CCTV survey, you can prevent the problems from occurring again.

Scale and silt can cause a lot of problems as can tree roots. But you will not know exactly what the issue is unless you have a CCTV survey to see into the drains themselves.

If there are extensive problems with the drains, then a full report can be written including a video report. There will also be photos to accompany the report and suggested solutions and costs.

The CCTV technology has developed hugely over the years and now there is the technology to be able to see around 45 degree bends and around toilet pans.

There are a number of repair techniques that professionals use, but it’s the CCTV survey which determines which one is the most appropriate.

So if you have drain maintenance problems, then make sure you have a CCTV survey afterwards, to ensure that that the problems won’t return.
