Preventive measures to avoid blocked drains

Drains can cause many problems to homeowners. But the good news is that if a problem does occur with your drains, they can be treated in several ways. All sorts of things can be accidentally flushed down a toilet and these can cause blockages. Avoid using excessive detergent as the build up of detergent can obstruct the flow of water. Lift the drain cover at regular intervals to make sure that the drains are flowing freely.
